An impromptu LA audition-crashing adventure landed HTR as a soundbite on the E! channel, plugging the US Version of the singing program. He wasn't allowed past the 2nd round however, as a certain assistant director felt HTR would call into question the shows integrity. HTR is still magnificently crooning publicly and unpaid to this day.
