Needing robotic companionship, HTR accepted a gracious offer to attend the 2006 San Francisco Event, where he received the "Best in Show" award. He stared at Alcatraz, met humanoids, appreciated fantastic art, and for a brief moment was surrounded by circuitry that truly understood him. HTR re-appeared the following year, garnering more hardware.
